Dorian Missick Joins Cast of ANNIE as Fake Parent

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Actor Dorian Missick joins the star-studded cast of "ANNIE” as the husband of Annie’s “fake parents” alongside Actress Tracie Thoms who plays the fake wife. He joins OSCAR winner Jamie Foxx and 10-year old Academy Award nominee Quvenzhane` Wallis as Annie.

It’s been quite a busy and exciting year for this accomplished actor. Fresh off two successful seasons on “SouthLAnd”, where he played Detective Ruben Robinson, Missick secured the lead role of “John” in the independent film “BIG WORDS” which has become a film festival favorite. Most recently he wrapped on the Jerry Bruckheimer produced thriller film, “Beware the Night” in New York City where he joined forces with Eric Bana and Joel McHale as “Gordon,” a Bronx cop who attempts to solve strange crimes with mysterious surroundings.

Missick joins the production in New York City together with the super producing team of Will Smith and Jay-Z this Fall. ANNIE is due in theatres Christmas 2014.

No stranger to the stage, film or television, New Jersey-born, New York raised, Dorian Missick is a true Renaissance man.
