First he was saddened and heart- broken, then immediately he told his mother, “This is wrong, mom! Just plain wrong!” “What can I do to help save them?” His mom CC had friends on Facebook who knew of The Rescue Train and its upcoming “Race for the Rescues” “Jonah’s passion for animals and doing “the right thing” were overwhelming,” “Through his guidance and ideas, in a very brief time we went from raising $25. on Facebook to near $1000.” Then he says to me in desperation; “He’s quite the little man. I’m so proud of him. He knows right from wrong and is willing to do something about it.” Hosted by Golden Globe, People’s Choice and Emmy winning “Glee” actress Jane Lynch, The 8th Annual Race for the Rescues – Los Angeleswill be held Sunday, October 6th, 2013, at The Rose Bowl, 1001 Rose Bowl Dr., Pasadena, CA 91103 - Area H -Immediately South of the Rose Bowl. THE RESCUE TRAlN http://www.therescuetrain.org/ Their goal to rescue dogs and cats off the streets and from city shelters before euthanasia and to find them loving homes. All the money raised will go to help the homeless dogs, cats and horses of Southern California Jonah will be running in the race to show his support and dedication and expects to win. He started with just $25.00 and Jonah has already raised $1000.00 all going directly to the charity through the link below. Any amount is helpful and appreciated, but what a great thing would it be to save the lives of beautiful animals who just need a home and your help. No amount is too small and will go towards saving animals from euthanasia, providing the community with important programs like free spay/neuter and assistance with vet bills for low income families. If only there were just a few more "Angels” simply willing to match what we’ve already raised? Are you one?
