Jacquée T. 'Writer in Residence' begins a Word of the Day

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Oct. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- "Gallant" ushers in the Jacquée T. "'Writer in Residence' Word of the Day," October 1st 2013.

The Word of the Day is celebrated via the new A Romantic's Perspective.com "Writer in Residence an actual and virtual expedition."

In honor of the "Writer" aspect, Miss Thomas hosts a "Word of the Day" to celebrate the written word, and words as tools of expression.

It may be pronounced  [gah-LHANT] or [GAL-uhnt] depending on whether you use it as an adjective, noun or verb.Miss T. loves most that it may be used as a verb.

She gives an example of "Gallant" usage as a verb, and closes "Fellas, how would you Gallant the ladies in your life? Ladies, expect to be Gallanted"

"Gallant" serves as the quintessential usher into the Jacquée T. Writer in Residence "Word of the Day" and opens the door to the likes of "Thespian," "Malinger" and "Cavort." Each day a new word is added to the list.

Miss T. presents words that may be new to folks, others that may be familiar. She presents being intimate with the words, via the history behind them, or less familiar ways to use them. For example, Thespian originates from Thespis who is said to be the first stage actor circa 15BC, and Gallant may be used as a verb.
