Follow on Google News | THEARC and Capital One to Host Free Fall Harvest Festival in Ward 8Celebrate all things Autumn at THEARC. Bring the family to enjoy caramel apple making, pony rides, arts & crafts and pumpkin painting for FREE in Ward 8.
By: Building Bridges Across the River Festivities will continue until 6:30 p.m. and include a bevy of free activities for youth and adults such as arts and crafts, pony rides, moon bounces, dance lessons and pumpkin painting. Attendees will also have the opportunity to make their own caramel apple and smoothie treats on site. Goodwill Industries Pop-up retail shop will also be at THEARC during the duration of the event. A selection of unique items, including vintage and contemporary fashions and accessories will be available for purchase. Officially opened in 2005, the Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus (THEARC) was built and is run by Building Bridges Across the River, a nonprofit 501-c-3 organization. THEARC is a $27 million, 110,000 square foot, state-of-the- BBAR's mid-week Fresh Produce Stand will offer fresh produce at the event, and festival-goers can learn about local agriculture, gardening and receive recipe information. THEARC's Fresh Produce Stand is present at The Ward 8 Farmer s Market every Saturday from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. in THEARC s parking lot.
