Cairo– October 2013 Radisson Blu Hotel, Cairo Heliopolis has given its whole-hearted support to this year's Box Appeal charity campaign, which is brightening the lives of children across the city for the third year.

Their initiative included: Making children and their parents happy at the Al Gaberty Government primary school after a thorough survey of the most needy schools in the Sheraton area. Radisson Blu Cairo distributed 194 boxes of utensils and other items to make school life a more rewarding experience. The hotel also gave out a further six boxes of linen items to school labors. Radisson Blu Cairo, for the second year, was delighted to add smiles to the lips of the children at the Gam3iet Bent Misr Orphanage by distributing 46 boxes filled with items to make life easier and happier. Again, a further four boxes of linen items were also happily handed over to the labors. In addition, Radisson Blu Hotel had 50 boxes to fill with skills development toys and games for the children at the '57357' Cancer Hospital. Taking part has been easy. Participants picked up a box free of charge from any participating Radisson Blu or Park Inn by Radisson hotel, and returned it filled with the selection of items. The hotels in each region then distributed the boxes, working in conjunction with locally-based charities to those in need of support.
