TM Cell Supports the Celebration of the 102nd National Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan)

MIAMI - Oct. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- Miami, FL – TM Cell, direct distributor of wireless handsets, accessories and data products for all broadband technologies, was a supporter of the celebration of the 102^nd National Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan) held October 8^th, 2013 at Jungle Island on Watson Island, Miami, Florida.

The event brought together approximately 400 guests to celebrate Taiwan’s rich history.  Marilyn Cheng, the evening’s MC, made sure everyone at the event had a good time.  In addition to the various Taiwanese companies that were showcased the event highlighted special guest speakers.

Philip Wang, Director General of the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office opened the event by welcoming everyone. Rudy Fernandez, Vice President of the University of Miami, gave the keynote address.  Mr. Fernandez spoke about Taiwan’s, “…rich history, your vibrant democracy, your robust economy, your commitment to regional peace and stability…your amazingly accomplished, yet humble people.”

He highlighted how, “…the Taiwanese economy is one of the most advanced economies in the world.”  R. Fernandez referenced how, “The Taiwanese are renowned for their inventiveness, creativity and design.”

Another speaker was Mr. Vincent Boccard, Mayor of Coral Springs, who said some kind words and gave a warm thank you to Director General Wang.  Also in attendance was Mr. Emilio Gonzalez, Director of the Miami-Dade Aviation Department.
