NEW YORK - Oct. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Biserno was created by a member of the famed wine making family Antinori, Marchese Lodovico Antinori. After developing other successful Italian wines Ornellaia and Masseto, he decided to return home to work with his family to create a new Super Tuscan wine with the Biserno label.

Using the vast knowledge acquired over years of personal experience, and a winemaking education handed down through centuries of the family business, Lodovico and his partners assessed their land and planted unconventional grapes for this part of Italy. The results have been remarkable. America’s Wine Shop currently sells 3 vintages of these highly regarded wines: “Il Pino di Biserno,” the flagship “Biserno,” and the newest label “Lodovico.” Each wine has received high marks from multiple reviewers, and look poised to be another success for Lodovico Antinori.

The New York City wine store’s owner has personally visited the Tuscan vineyard and met with Lodovico.
