Ted Todd Insurance Agency outfits all seven Florida offices with 56 new Apple iMacs

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - Oct. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Ted Todd Insurance Agency is installing 56 new iMac desktop computers in all seven offices across south Florida for uniformity of its computer technology. The new, all-in-one computers feature extra-large 27” monitors, with Intel quad-core i5 Haswell processors running up to 3.4 GHz, and Nvidia GeForce 700 series graphics with 40% faster performance over previous models. The new iMacs were all purchased locally at the Apple store located at Coconut Point Mall.

“Employees love them!” said Ted Todd. “We were all using various PC models and software, some of which were up to 6 or 8 years old. Maintenance and replacement parts were a constant issue, which affected productivity. Each individual computer operated a little differently and produced different generations of documents that were not always exchangeable. It just made a lot of business sense to provide every employee with the latest computer technology to facilitate their best work.”

The firm is finding that training is easy, as Apple products are all designed for very intuitive operation. Next month, the firm will install a large hard drive to centrally host all the iMacs so that each individual can sit at any desk at any of our seven office locations throughout Florida and still access their own computer system and documents. The old PC computers and monitors have been well-maintained and will be distributed to employees and local charitable organizations.
