Hip Hop Sensation Brooklyn Sarden Prepares To Take It To The Top With The Release Of His New Single

DETROIT - Oct. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Born in the heart of Detroit’s east side everyone’s first question to me is usually, “What’s your REAL name?” and I always tell them, “Brooklyn of course ...” Named after the famous borough that my father’s best friend from the marines hails from, I’m definitely trying to represent hip hop to the fullest for the city that I'm named after and the city that birthed me, Detroit. With the release of my upcoming album and new single Light It Up, I plan on getting things popping out the gate!

And that's exactly what Brooklyn has done thus far.  Last week Light It Up was released to the internet and the response has already been amazing.  The song has been featured on MTV.COM's New Artist & Music online page.  He has also been Singled Out by www.antimusic.com where he gets an opportunity to tell the story of how the concept of Light It Up was concieved which will be published on October 24th.  The single is also already gaining national attention by being added to the prestigious line up at Music Choices Hip Hop and R&B channel.

"I released my first single "What's My Name?" when I was 10.  I let four years go by while I continued to nurture my craft and then we released my second single "Everythang" when I was 16.  Now I'm gonna be 18 soon and I'm hitting the world with much more mature content!  My songs are gonna talk about girls, love, love making, hanging out, fashion, college parties ... oh yeah, did I say girls!  You know, the average day in the life of a guy, with both parents, in a middle class house that is transforming from a boy to into a young man." says Brooklyn.

Light It Up is set to be released online to all digital outlets including iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and Rhapsody on Tuesday October 22nd.
