NFPA to Hold Engineering Career Fair

The National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) is hosting a free career fair for local students and educators in the Milwaukee-Chicago corridor. All students interested in engineering are urged to attend.

MILWAUKEE - Oct. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- The NFPA Regional Fluid Power Career Fair will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center, 11800 108th Street, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Students, bring your resumes.  NFPA member companies located in and around southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois will be present to interview candidates about current job openings. There are hundreds of job openings in the fluid power (hydraulics and pneumatics) field. According to a recent Fluid Power Industry Workforce Needs Survey, 75% of the manufacturers surveyed are expecting to hire positions such as machinists, mechanical engineers, industrial engineering technicians and sales engineers with two to four years of education.

Students and faculty will have the opportunity to talk to fluid power companies about possible internships or full or part-time employment careers in a growing industry. The NFPA Regional Career Fair is a great place for students to find a career and a strong future.
