CEG TEK International Announces Leadership Team Appointments

Oct. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- CEG TEK International is proud to announce a series of leadership team appointments to accommodate the Company's continued growth in providing rights and content owners worldwide with first-in-class copyright, trademark, and brand protection services.

Members comprising the leadership team include Jon Nicolini (CTO), Kyle Reed (COO), Andy Kirk (VP Sales), David Kurzman (GM), and legal counsel Ira Siegel.

Jon Nicolini - CTO & Co-Founder

As Chief Technology Officer, Jon Nicolini is responsible for the overall technical strategy of CEG TEK's copyright, trademark, and brand protection solutions. He is also charged with overseeing R&D and all aspects of technological infrastructure. Previously, Jon served as Vice President of Technology for CEG TEK. Prior to joining the Company, he held a role at Vubiquity f/k/a Avail-TVN and started his career at an intellectual property security and business intelligence firm managing software development, web development, database administration, and data analysis.

Kyle Reed - COO & Co-Founder

Kyle Reed currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of CEG TEK. In this role, he oversees the teams responsible for day-to-day operations of service delivery, including sales and business development, as well as oversight of the Company's partnerships and product development. He also leads the Company's internal communications and workflow processes. Previously, Kyle served as VP of Operations for the Company. Before joining CEG TEK, he was Director of Operations, Quality Assurance at Avail-TVN. Kyle has also held multiple sales, marketing, and business development roles with Universal Studios Home Entertainment, Buena Vista Pictures Distribution, Walt Disney Worldwide Services, TVN Entertainment, and a digital anti-piracy and business intelligence company.

Andy Kirk - VP, Sales

In his role as Vice President of Sales for CEG TEK, Andy Kirk is responsible for the sales department. He cultivates new business relationships and maintains existing accounts. Prior to joining the Company, Andy served as Director of Affiliate Sales at Vubiquity f/k/a Avail-TVN. He also served as Director of Marketing for Vubiquity. He has over ten years of experience spearheading promotional and marketing campaigns for major Hollywood studios including the Walt Disney Company, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., and Nickelodeon. His technology career began at IBM as an account executive responsible for NASA, Goddard Space Flight Center, the International Space Station, and the United State Air Force Support Command accounts.

David Kurzman - GM & Co-Founder

As General Manager of CEG TEK, David Kurzman is charged with the day-to-day operations and strategy of client relations, customer service, and the Company's in-bound call center. He is also responsible for Internet Service Provider (ISP) relations and services. Dave has over 30 years of experience in regards to the evolution of film distribution and sales from reel-to-reel, Beta, and VHS to LaserDisc, DVD, and other digital formats. Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer at Westwood Research Laboratories; a firm which specialized in new product development, product testing, advertising, marketing, and sales tracking. Prior to that, he was the owner of Factory Direct, a direct-to-consumer sales company.

Ira Siegel - Legal Counsel

As legal counsel, Ira Siegel is responsible for providing company-wide oversight and advice on all legal aspects of the business including compliance, strategic initiatives, and complex legal matters.  Ira has owned and operated the Law Offices of Ira M. Siegel, an intellectual property law firm, for over 15 years. He has practiced in the patent, trademark, and copyright field for over 30 years. Several of his opinions have been published from cases including Desper Products. v. QSound Labs, Inc., 157 F.3d 1325 (patent infringement), Oakley, Inc. v. International Tropic-Cal, Inc., 923 F.2d 167 (design patent infringement), Pro Arts, Inc. v. Hustler Magazine, Inc., 787 F.2d 592 (copyright infringement), Constant v. United States, 617 F.2d 239 (an invention secrecy act case), and United States Golf Assn. v. U.S. Amateur Golf Assn., 690 F.Supp. 317 (trademark infringement). Before practicing law, Ira worked as a civilian electronics engineer for the United States Navy.
