Wild Blue to Hold ‘Warm Your Heart’ Firewood Fundraiser Nov 9th & 10th in Black Forest, Colorado

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Oct. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Wild Blue Animal Rescue and Sanctuary will hold their second annual “Warm Your Heart” Firewood Fundraiser event on Veteran’s Day weekend, Saturday, Nov 9^th and Sunday, Nov 10^th from 10am-3pm each day.

The fundraiser will take place at the sanctuary property located at 5975 Burgess Road in Black Forest – just north of Colorado Springs.

Firewood will be very fairly priced at $80 per standard truck bed load for block wood, $100 for split wood and featuring a lower price of $70 for all active duty or retired military members.

There will also be special pricing for smaller trucks and SUVs. A minimum donation of $50 per load is requested and firewood is pick up, onsite only. Loading assistance will be available.

“Following the fire’s this past summer we decided that it was necessary to continue the mitigation work we started last year at our property,” said Lauri Cross, Executive Director of Wild Blue. “So what better time than now to have a firewood fundraiser to benefit the animals in our care.”

Wild Blue also has an ongoing fundraiser with Aspen Auto Clinic to receive $40 back on each purchase of a special, 5-pack oil change.
