Filmmaker, actor, author, film director and screenwriter William Byron Hillman is tired of having his projects changed by studios and networks. He created a crowd-funding site on Kickstarter that enables anyone to participate, be in the know from day one and even receive fantastic rewards they would never get by investing in a studio or independently financed motion picture.

WHAT

“QUIGLEY’S CHRISTMAS ADVENTURE” is a major motion picture that just might live on for a very long time, like “It’s A Wonderful Life” or “Miracle on 34^th Street.” The story has action, stunts, lots of dogs, bad guys, good people, heart warming moments that will create mixed emotions, smiles, tears and outrageous belly laughter. It will amaze you what one dog, a few angels and a group of kids can do. Can evil and greed overtake honesty and kindness? Is there hope where none exists? Can the town be saved, will the autistic employees keep their job and is it true the Christmas parade might not take place and faces doom? Watch the video, it’s fun. What will it cost? Scroll down the rewards section on the right side of the page, pick one and click on it. Becoming a Backer can range from $5 up to $10,000. It’s safe, secure and your credit card will not be charged until we reach our goal. If we don’t reach it, there will not be a charge made and it costs you nothing.

WHY

Because it’s a stand-alone, lifetime experience when you literally become part of a major motion picture. You will enjoy a personal involvement you couldn’t get anywhere else for any amount of money. The Backers receive Rewards that are never offered to the public. The rewards range from daily production updates, toys, DVD’s, music scores, a day on the set, autographed posters, being a principal extra, having your photo shown on screen, be invited to private screenings, receive a producer’s credit, have lunch with the director, have your name or likeness placed in the film, get a role in the film to having you talented musical child become a member of the band that plays throughout the movie. WHERE

The film will be shot in North and South Carolina and Los Angeles California in late February and early March of 2014. The film will be released during the holidays of 2014. Private screenings and the wrap party will be held in Charlotte N.C., with another screening in Los Angeles.
