Follow on Google News | Greenville County Youth Orchestras Announce Two Performances At The Greenville Kroc CenterBy: Greenville County Youth Orchestras The orchestra will perform an interactive concert for the Boys and Girls Club members at 4:30 PM. "I am really glad we are able to work with the Boys and Girls Club at the Kroc Center again. Last year's concert was a great experience for our students as well as the club members,” shares GCYO Director, Holly Caprell. “The interaction between the two groups was fun to watch!" The club members have stated that the concert is one of the most anticipated events of the year at the Center. This year’s musical selections will include Dance of the Tumblers - N. Rimsky-Korsakov/ ABOUT GREENVILLE COUNTY YOUTH ORCHESTRAS (GCYO): Greenville County Youth Orchestras (GCYO) is dedicated to providing a quality orchestral program for talented high school and middle school musicians where they can learn the art of orchestral performance, enhance their personal music skills, and grow as individuals. It is the afterschool orchestras program of Greenville County Schools. The organization consists of five orchestras that meet late afternoons and evenings during the school year. Each provides outstanding educational and performing opportunities for skilled and motivated students. Membership in the Greenville County Youth Orchestras is by audition only.
