The campaign tells the story of Blyss, beginning with Founder Ashley Faye’s trip to Calcutta to work with girls and women who have survived human trafficking. Upon her return from India, Faye decided to make her passion for women’s empowerment her day-job. She created Blyss Brand to not only incorporate socially responsible business practices, but to donate a portion of revenue to agencies supporting trafficking survivors and at-risk girls and women, like Made by Survivors. MBS provides job training and income generation opportunities for women in and around red light districts and high-trafficking areas. Blyss Brand’s mission is to create a movement of global citizens who literally wear their commitment to social justice on their sleeves. Blyss features three lines- Conquer, Explore and Breathe- meant to inspire customers to reach their own goals while supporting other women to reach their own. Each line features quotes, words and images that portray their namesake. “I decided on ‘conquer,’ Blyss Brand is a socially responsible yoga apparel and accessory line featuring ethically manufactured products for conscious consumers. Uniquely, it targets the issue of human trafficking by promoting an uplifting message of freedom through the inspirational words and images featured on its products, and through donating a portion of proceeds to like-minded charities.
