Just Get Loaded:Get Sh*t Done By Blog Consistently

CARLTON, Australia - Oct. 31, 2013 - PRLog -- When I first started doing this internet marketing thing, I hated doing the same things day in, day out.

You know what I mean. Blog daily? C’mon.

Ain’t nobody got time fo’ that.

Har Har, Sweet Brown.

Every single day I spent hours trying out to figure out the best strategy to move my business forward.

I figured, if I could copy what the big guys were doing there’s no way in hell I wasn’t gonna make bank.

Which is a perfectly legitimate idea isn’t it? Learn from the best, and copy what they do.

So I looked up Vick Strizheus’ paid traffic methods, Chris Record’s blogging style, Dave Sharpe’s copy-writing…

I tried to boil the best bits of their strategies into one massive cocktail of awesome-sauce.

However, Paid Ads Monday, Blogging Tuesday, Facebook PPC Wednesday…

… only resulted in me having Broke A*s Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The problem was, I was bouncing around from one strategy to another like a Desperate Housewife character. By trying to do everything, I got barely anywhere.

The $6000 bucks in profit only barely covered the costs of going all in.

I work in the management consulting industry, and we have a saying for trying to do everything.

‘Don’t boil the ocean.’

If you want a glass of water, freaking boil a glass of water. That is all.

It took me a while to get it, but now I’m only going to focus on blogging.

That is all I’m going to do. By hook or by crook I’m taking this baby to $20,000 a month blogging.

Here’s the truth on why top performers do so bloody well.

They do the same damn things normal people do. The big difference is that they are way more consistent and hardworking.

That is literally the only thing that separates the peasants from greatness.
Consistency is Key
Couple of days ago I re-watched one of the old Bob Proctor videos and that was when I finally got it.

To quote the great man himself:

By trying to do every single thing, you’re not going to achieve much of anything. Best to channel your focus into one particular thing, and do it over and over again until you can do it WELL.

Jack of all trades, master at none.

Go out there and be a master of ONE.

Can you image what Michael Jordan’s career would have been like if he decided to try out tennis, football, golf, cricket and basketball at the same time?

Chances are he wouldn’t be really good at any of them.

Here’s another common complaint.

“No, Erik. Jane Doe has great writing skills. The other dude talks so well. The other dude can code a website blindfolded with one hand. Little old me can’t do all those things, so I’m gonna fail.”

Well.

I call bullsh*t.

Anyone can learn any of these skills. With enough practice you can get good at anything.

The question is whether you are willing to bite down and work for it.
Successful People Are Always On Repeat
Listen to any inspiring story.

Kobe Bryant, Donald Trump, Richard Branson… They do the same things over and over again.

(Love them or hate them, you cannot deny their success)

Better still, check out any top earner in Empower Network and they are ALWAYS stuck on repeat.

You would think they’d get bored of the same message, but it’s intentional.

Because it works. Period.

That’s the secret. Consistency.

I’m absolutely sticking to the blogging strategy from now on. No more second guessing.

I’ve built this brand new blog from the ground up and I’m gonna gun for that income goal like a bat out of hell.

Keep it simple, stupid.
