By: Krol Media Communities around the country are rallying around their own video entries featuring cancer survivors. In order for Hair Peace Charities to win, people need to vote and pass along the information to family, friends and co-workers. Hair Peace Charities helps women and girls in Western PA who have hair loss from any type of cancer treatment. Local cancer survivors along with the staff at UPMC hospitals created the music video for contest submission to the Sara Barilles song called Brave. In 2013 alone, more than 400 women in the Pittsburgh area benefitted from Hair Peace Charities. Over 500 women are expected to receive assistance from the charity in 2014.
