YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Oct. 31, 2013 - PRLog -- Canfield, OH (October 29, 2013) Mike Tarantino, owner of iM Image Marketing in Canfield, has recently graduated the SBA Emerging Leaders class, formerly known as e200. Youngstown, Ohio is one of only 27 communities where business owners have the opportunity to take the course. Tarantino is one of only nine entrepreneurs to graduate the course in Youngstown this year.

I've been self employed for 20 years, as I owned other businesses before starting iM Image Marketing, but I've always worked on my own. I have reached a point with iM, that things are really happening, and I have to grow just to keep up. The SBA Emerging Leaders course helped me to put the systems in place in order to facilitate this growth.” stated Tarantino.

The SBA Emerging Leaders Initiative is a federal training initiative started in 2008 that specifically focuses on executives of businesses poised for growth in historically challenged communities. The initiative provides these executives with the organizational framework, resource network, and motivation required to build sustainable businesses and promote the economic development within urban communities.

The seven-month executive leader curriculum includes approximately 100 hours of classroom time per participant and provides the opportunity for small business owners to work with experienced mentors, attend workshops, and develop connections with their peers, city leaders, and financial communities.
