Madelyn Brené Fortner captures the hearts and intrigue audiences through her vocal versatility. Her repertoire includes opera, jazz, musical theatre, oratorio and commercial work. She has performed internationally and recently with Turtle Creek Chorale and Uptown Players in the Production Ragtime and Theatre Three's production of A Catered Affair. Madelyn has sung the role of 2nd Lady in Mozart’s
Die Zauberflote at the Almafi Coast Music Festival in Naples, Italy and has portrayed the roles of Yvette in scenes from Puccini’s
La Rondine and Carla in scenes from Maury Yeston’s
Nine at the Vocal Arts Symposium in Colorado Springs, Co. Ms. Brené will preview her vocal diversity during the
Woman that Soar Awards in Dallas, Texas on November 9, 2013, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 300 Reunion Blvd broadcasting on CBS 11 and TXA 21 in December, 2013. The Christmas Soirée with Madelyn Brené will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m.; the ticket price of $15 will include admission and complimentary wine. She will also release her debut album entitled “All of Me” in Spring 2014 and has been creating a buzz with her lively performances and eclectic style incorporating classical, jazz and international genres.
