New Multicultural Empowerment Conference for Women Announced for University of North Florida

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Nov. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Othal Partners, LLC is unveiling its latest venture for cultural, community, and business awareness, called the “Opal Network Alliance (ONA).” It is slated to commence March 6, 2014, at the Adam W. Herbert University Center, located on the campus of the University of North Florida, in Jacksonville.

The Opal Network Alliance is America’s Multicultural Conference & Expo for Women. It will feature colloquiums in the special interest areas of: Fiscal Fitness, Entrepreneurship, Better Health Awareness, Diet & Nutrition, Greater Networking, and Overcoming Gender Inequities. ONA’s enrichment sessions may also include: Reinventing Yourself, Sexual Awareness, Mental Health, Understanding Legal Rights, Building Better Relationships, Domestic Violence, Public Speaking, Social Media, and Leadership.

“We are excited to be a conduit for celebrating the rich cultural mosaic of women with the greater first coast community and UNF,” states Vel Johnson, Spokeswoman & Media Consultant for ONA.  “ONA will be held in conjunction with several events during the first week of March, to help showcase Women’s History Month on the campus. Our goal is to have everyone participate in UNF’s diversity week activities.”

The conference will include an ambassador program that awards scholarships to college students and an expo that is free and open to the public. Conference presenters will hail from various regions of the country. ONA will be hosting its events in many states including: Georgia, North Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, California, Illinois, Michigan, and Florida.
