Chef Padua Player aka Suga Chef Will Compete In Cake Battle For 10th Anniversary Capital Food Fight

WASHINGTON - Nov. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Chef Padua Player will compete with three other local pastry artists to claim the first-ever cake decorating title. The audience gets to judge and Duff Goldman of Food Network's Ace of Cakes will be hosting the competition. Presented by Whole Foods.

The entire Capital Food Fight event will be hosted by José Andrés and Carla Hall featuring a live, on-stage food battle with top local savory chefs.  This competition will be celebrity judged by James Beard Award-winners Tom Colicchio (Bravo’s Top Chef), Rick Bayless (PBS’ Mexico: One Plate at a Time), Todd English (PBS’ Food Trip with Todd English), and Art Smith (Cookbook author and owner of Art & Soul restaurant).  Pesented by Walmart.

Chef Padua is a native Washingtonian and graduated from Baltimore International College with a Baking and Pastry Arts degree. His love for structure and eye for detail gave way to him mastering the fundamental skills of baking and creating unique pastries.
