The Fringe to Guest on Rookery Radio

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Nov. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- The Fringe will be appearing on YSU's internet radio station, Rookery Radio on Monday, November 18 at Noon, as a guest on their show, The Lunch Break.

“A couple months ago, I saw a post on Facebook that they were booked up for the rest of the year. I thought, if they are that busy, I have to get them on my show.”, said Larry Melton, DJ of The Lunch Break on Rookery Radio. “After I contacted them about being on the show, I attended one of their shows, at Tangier's in Struthers and was blown away. They are without a doubt one of the top bands in the area.”

“We're very excited that Rookery Radio contacted us about being on the show. We have strong ties to YSU, as I am an Alumnus, and our lead singer, Bridget Yurcisin, is a current student there.”, said Sam Morris, bassist of The Fringe.

The Fringe is a 5 piece band based in Youngstown, Ohio comprised of Robert Bernard on lead guitar, Sam Morris on bass guitar, Bridget Yurcisin on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Ray Francisco on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, and Gary Breuer on drums. They are closing in on playing 30 shows since their debut in March 2013, supporting their claim as the hardest working band in the Mahoning Valley.
