COMINT Consulting Supports Signal Hound Spectrum Analyzers

BOZEMAN, Mont. - Nov. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- COMINT Consulting is now working with the Signal Hound USB-SA44B, developed by Test Equipment Plus, a manufacturer and repair center for spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.

The Signal Hound USB-SA44B is a Software Defined Radio (SDR) optimized as a spectrum analyzer and designed to be compact, portable, simple and affordable tool for accurate and small-scale use. It has an RF frequency range of 1 Hz to 4.4 GHz, with a low-noise amplifier available above 500 KHz. Features include a built-in thermometer for temperature corrections and a preamplifier.

“When our Krypto500 decoder uses the Signal Hound as a receiver, users get to analyze, demodulate and decode a wide range of signals without breaking the bank,” said COMINT Consulting Technology Director. “It makes signals intelligence simple.”

COMINT Consulting expects to support the new BB60C series broadband spectrum analyzer and RF recorder, due out by the end of 2013. These next-generation receivers are expected to have a number of features important to the SIGINT mission. More details will be available in the coming weeks.
