Follow on Google News | Dynetics’ Paul Coggin and Bob Graves to Speak at Geo-Energy-Cyber Huntsville SummitBy: Dynetics Coggin and Graves will contribute to panel discussions at this first conference to bring together Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle’s three economic development initiatives of geospatial technology, energy management and cyber security. Coggin will participate on the panel, “Cyber Security Technology Solutions,” and Graves will take part in “Opportunities in Energy, Geospatial & Cyber: Technologies Forming the Backbone of National Security and Energy Independence.” The theme of the summit is “Technology Supporting our National Security and Energy Independence.” Coggin’s cyber security panel will address the threat and approach to securing digital energy, a topic he has spoken on numerous times. This will include introducing the “cyber warriors,” who they are, where they are and what they can do, and will address the advanced persistent threats (APT) of cyber warriors. Jay Kurowsky, president and CEO of Aleta Technologies, will moderate the panel, which will also include Rob Arnold, information assurance and security manager for TVA, and Pete Cuviello, lead client/market partner for Deloitte. Graves’ fellow panelists will be Bruce Rogers, TVA’s director of technology innovation; Howard Smith, Alabama Power’s manager of resource planning and operations; and Dr. Ray Vaughn, the University of Alabama Huntsville’s vice president for research. Dale Jobes will serve as moderator. At Dynetics, Graves leverages his 25 years of experience and expertise in project management, software engineering and enterprise IT security technologies to craft solutions for Dynetics’ utility, telecommunications, healthcare and state/local government customers.
