Backyard Products, LLC Acquires Swing-N-Slide

MONROE, Mich. - Nov. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Backyard Products is North America’s largest manufacturer of wood storage sheds, recreational buildings and installed play sets. The Company entered the residential play set category in 2006 and expanded its product assortment by acquiring Kids Creations, a specialty redwood play set manufacturer, in 2011. Today’s acquisition of Swing-N-Slide, one of the leading consumer playground equipment companies, moves Backyard Products towards its goal of becoming the leading provider of residential wood play sets and accessories.

Backyard Products is headquartered out of a 200,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Monroe, Michigan and added its second manufacturing location with Swing-N-Slide in Janesville, Wisconsin. While many competitors have moved manufacturing to China, Backyard continues to manufacture high-quality, residential wood play sets in the USA.
