B-leaf Botanics Skin Care Hosts Event in Kansas City

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Nov. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Two local companies are teaming up in support of natural and organic skin care in Kansas City.  Overland Park based B-leaf Botanics (http://www.bleafbotanics.com) natural skin care company will be hosting a trunk show of their entire line at the recently opened SKIN (http://www.realorganicskin.com) store on the Plaza.  Both SKIN and B-leaf Botanics pride themselves on offering natural and organic skin care products for the face and body that are toxin free and cruelty free. The event will be held on Thursday evening, November 21st, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will feature product demonstrations, sample giveaways and door prizes.

B-leaf Botanics creator, Ellen Holder, will be on hand to answer skin care questions and talk about her signature collection, the PMS System for hormonal and peri-menopausal skin. The system includes skin care utilizing botanical oils and extracts known for their anti-aging, hormonal balancing and blemish-fighting abilities.  B-leaf Botanics also has products for dry, sun-damaged skin and the range features face cleansers, toners, moisturizers, and serums and also includes products for bath and body.

Holder began her career in skin care when she opened CarenOnline.com (http://www.carenonline.com), an online store featuring various brands of natural and organic skin care in 2007.  While health problems lead her to a more natural and chemical free lifestyle, it was skin issues that forced her to take a more active role in product formulation.  "I was forever reading ingredient labels and wondering why they weren't putting things together to really help those of us with fine lines AND blemishes showing up," said Holder.  "There are so many effective ingredients found in nature that can address peri-menopausal type skin."

Excited to be featured at the new SKIN store in Kansas City, Holder has had a great relationship with owner Stephanie Simkins and her SKIN brand of skin care for years.  "SKIN has always been one of our best selling brands at CarenOnline.com," remarked Holder.  "We're so excited to see her opening a store here in our own backyard of Kansas City".  The new SKIN store features natural and organic skin care products mainly from SKIN but also features products from B-leaf Botanics, Suntegrity and other brands.
