Infinit Outsourcing Attends HIMOSC 2013

MAKATI CITY, Philippines - Nov. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Jeffrey De Jesus, Infinit Outsourcing’s Vice President for Healthcare Information Management (HIM) and Client Support Services, is one of the panelists at the Healthcare Information Management Outsourcing Association of the Philippines’ (HIMOAP) 4^th Healthcare Information Management Outsourcing Services Congress 2013 (HIMOSC). The whole day event takes place at the InterContinental Hotel, Makati City. HIMOSC 2013 is anchored on the theme, “Intensity 10: Propelling Healthcare Information Management to Exponential Growth.” Jeffrey De Jesus joins the panel for the first topic of the event which is Harnessing Opportunities in Healthcare Policies.

Joining the panel are the Undersecretary of the Department of Health (DOH), Hon. Teodoro Herbosa, and Vice President for PH Operations of HCCA Health Connections, Michael Burbach. De Jesus, together with the other panelists, discusses queries about several policies, laws, and regulations under the global healthcare industry. De Jesus answers a certain query about Obamacare. “It opens a new horizon of opportunities. There are US companies that are looking for services that don’t yet exist,” says De Jesus.

Some of the other key points that De Jesus added during the panel discussion include the capability and capacity of the Philippines’ HIM industry to meet $1 billion revenues and 100,000 full-time employees (FTEs) by 2016. “Both are doable as long as we have proper information, formation, transformation, and education. The Philippines has to become an ideal place for HIM. We have to help people understand that there’s a job opportunity here,” De Jesus contributes.
