“Dream On, Dreamer” Resurrects Real Hip Hop in Live Performance Showcase

MIAMI - Nov. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Presented by independent arts collective Creative Introverts, the “Dream On, Dreamer” Hip Hop Showcase takes place Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Sweat Records (5505 NE 2^nd Ave.). One of two Miami tour stops for DC-based indie emcee, MORGAN, “Dream On, Dreamer” will also feature Ft. Lauderdale-based lyrical talent Rid Jetson, and DC-native 202LYC. Performer points:

-   Rid Jetson: Upon first listen of Boston native-turned Miami resident, Rid Jetson, any music lover with a respectable opinion of Hip Hop would immediately recognize the pure talent and passion emanating from this emcee.

-   MORGAN is a calculated, magnetic phenom of an emcee, trailblazing in the footsteps of Hip Hop's revered greats. She is nothing short of avant-garde, challenging the status quo and pushing forth in an industry that considers her second to her male counterparts.

-   202LYC takes pride in growing up in Washington, DC and his music tells stories about life as a young black man coming up and overcoming struggles of the city. Through his "voice of the struggle", 202LYC wants his listeners to be able to associate their life and experiences with his stories.

Taking place one of the country’s only remaining brick and mortar record stores, hosted by Miami x DC transplant STEFisDOPE, sounds by DJ Slick Rick, and featuring some extremely dope talent, this event will definitely leave Hip Hop lovers falling in love with the craft again
