AIAI Launches New Website For Russo-Indian Collaboration

MUMBAI, India - Nov. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- A world where geographical distances are losing their significant very fast thanks to the emergence of information technology and its extensive use; transnational collaboration has become the need of the day. All India Association of Industries, a no-profit organization working for over five decades for integrating commerce, government and academia has now launched their new website - www.rithmumbai.com, Russia India Trade House Mumbai; RIHTM in short.

In a gala event marking the inauguration of the website many notable personalities were present. This included Mr. Vijay Kalantri, President of AIAI and Mrs. Rupa Naik, Executive Director of AIAI as well as Mr. Alexey Novikov, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Mumbai and many Russian delegates. It was considered by all concerned to be a timely move for promoting Indo-Russian collaboration in trade and commerce. Incidentally, the website is also operating from Mumbai, the headquarters of AIAI.

RITHM has been established against this backdrop and it has started operating with the objective of augmenting bilateral trade between two of the world’s fastest growing economies; India and Russia. The organization has its headquarters located at the World Trade Center in Mumbai.  The objective is to promote collaborative trade and commerce not only between India and Russia but to extend its ambits to other developing and developed economies in future.

A not for profit body of professionals, RIHTM was established back in 23rd April 2012 and it has worked in close collaboration with its parent organization AIAI. “We are proud of our affiliation with AIAI and are extremely pleased to work promoting their core ideologies in the field of collaborative trade and commerce”; said the Executive Director of RIHTM.

RIHTM is recognized by the Russian Embassy in India and was initiated under the guidance of Consulate of Russian Federation, AIAI, and the WTC.
