Leica mojoXact Plus combines RTK accuracy and ISOBUS capability for simplified operationLeica Geosystems Agriculture today releases the Leica mojoXact Plus, the enhanced successor of the Leica mojoXact. Packed with all the features of the existing Leica mojoXact it introduces support for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and ISOBUS Universal Terminals, which enables extensive product cross compatibility.
By: Leica Geosystems Pty Ltd A key benefit of the Leica mojoXact Plus is that farmers can utilize the existing ISOBUS Universal Terminal fitted to their tractor to achieve RTK steering. This is achieved via the industry standard ISOBUS 11783 protocol and maximizes the use of factory installed auto steer components. Maximizing the use of factory installed components minimizes both cost and complexity of installation. ISOBUS: The industry’s most widely accepted and utilized electronic communication standard The Leica mojoXact Plus will soon support the ISOBUS Universal Terminal. For users that do not have a Universal Terminal the Leica mojoXact Plus continues to connect with the Leica mojo3D guidance system. This provides the user with the option to upgrade their systems in the future to the ISOBUS Universal Terminal and still use the Leica mojo3D independently providing additional use of both the Leica mojoXact Plus and Leica mojo3D. Automatic high-accuracy guidance Repeatable accuracy, is fundamental to the Leica mojoXact Plus, as such it has GLONASS as standard and support for future satellite constellations. The six axis inertial sensor compliments the GNSS engine to deliver on ground accuracy for all auto-steer applications. This reduces overlap in the field maximizing crop yields and profitability for the farming operations. Independency for maximum flexibility backed by a first class in-field service Leica Geosystems believe in open industry standards (ISO, NMEA, and RTK correction formats), and as such the Leica mojoXact Plus continues to support these standards along with the ISOBUS. The end user can have peace of mind as the Leica mojoXact Plus has an integrated modem to request service via Leica Virtual WrenchTM, Leica Geosystems’ remote service and support tool. “This new generation provides increased platform capability which enhances our support for open formats and compatibility with third party equipment and reduces the number of terminals in the tractor cab for customers” said Joe Arico, Manager Product Management and Global Support at Leica Geosystems Agriculture. The ISOBUS Universal Terminal support via the Leica mojoXact Plus will be released in the near future. For more information about Leica Geosystems agriculture products visit www.AgGuidance.com End
