Royal Launch to BioFach India 2013 At Bangalore Palace – Inaugurated by Shri Krishna Byre Gowda

BANGALORE, India - Nov. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- The fifth edition of BioFach India - 2013, an initiative of Nuremberg Messe India Pvt Ltd., in collaboration with Department of Agriculture, Government of Karnataka and International Competence Centre for Organic Agriculture (ICCOA) was inaugurated with much flair today.  The Inaugural Address was delivered by Honorable Minister Shri Krishna Byre Gowda, who stated that the Government of Karnataka has set aside hundred Crores budget for organic farming. The show will be on from November 14 – 16 at Bangalore Palace, Vasanthnagar Entrance. The Trade Fair was presided by Shri Tariq Anwar Honorable Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing Industries.    Shri Roshan Baig Hon’ble MLA and  Shri D. B. Chandre Gowda Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Shri Rajshekhar Reddy Seelam, Vice President ICCOA, Shri. Suh chong Hyuk –President IFOAM Asia, Shri Dharmarajan-Director of Agriculture Department, Government of Karnataka, Mr. Joern Rohde - Nuremberg Messe, Germany were present.

The event attracts interested visitors from production, manufacturing, trade and services and it is the single largest platform where various stake-holders in the organic value chain congregate to network, and consumers through various programs.

The three day Organic Food trade event saw many interesting exhibitors and a notable one among them is Terra Greens, a “Young Woman Entrepreneur” organic entity who has exclusively launched first of its kind 13 ingredients whole grain atta at BioFach India 2013. Other visiting exhibitors and professionals from across Globe will showcase a vibrant array of healthy, sustainable, organic delicacies and specialty ingredients from 10 International organic food ingredients and drink suppliers

The attraction also includes International buyers who will come from Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Berlin, USA, Indonesia, and South Korea. The main components of the fair are exhibitions, an International conference consisting of various eminent speakers, addressing on various Organic & agricultural aspects such as Dr. Suh Chong Hyuk President IFOAM Asia, Mr. Frank Eyhorn, Gerald Herrmann, etc. This event is supported by, NABARD Bangalore and IFAOM.

In addition to a central exhibition, the new event will feature  Live chef sessions, Farmer program, School Children awareness program and Consumer Connect program by The Alternatives which will focus spreading awareness amongst children which will also include insightful sessions from leading industry organisations, such as “Nature on my Plate”.
