Phoenix Artist Derrick Bostrom Opens Photography Exhibit at Green New American VegetarianFounding Member of the Meat Puppets Shares His Visions of Arizona
By: Derrick Bostrom “Green is a great creative space that celebrates both food and art,” said Bostrom. “As a native Arizonan, as well as a longtime vegan and a regular diner at Green, I hope that the local community is able to connect with the images I’m sharing at the restaurant.” The exhibit includes photos ranging from antique buildings captured in small town Arizona to Tempe Town Lake. Bostrom blends images of the old and rustic with new developments to show the diversity of scenes found throughout the state. “I’m excited that we’re able to premier Derrick’s exhibit,” said Damon Brasch, chef/restaurateur of Green. “We are always looking for new work to share with our customers that is relevant and compelling, and Derrick’s passion for Arizona is reflected in his work.” The exhibit will run until January 18, 2014. Green is located at 2022 North 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85004 and is open Monday – Saturday, 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Green’s photo exhibits are managed by Daniel Mills.
