Comcast Foundation Presents $20,000 Grant To Big Brothers Big Sisters Of Beaver County

A two year grant will be provided from Comcast Foundation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County for their mentoring program.
 
PITTSBURGH - Nov. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- The Comcast Foundation has done it again, by awarding a two-year $20,000 grant to BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF BEAVER COUNTY.  The Comcast Foundation will continue to support the Comcast Campus Mentoring Program that assists in the recruitment and training of mentors for at-risk youth, year-round.  The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County programming is made possible due to the support from their community partners, such as The Comcast Foundation, and their dedicated board members.

“We are grateful to the Comcast Foundation for their timely and multi-faceted support” said Lynell Scaff, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County.   “The demand for our services has never been greater.  Comcast’s support will significantly increase the number and the effectiveness of the caring individuals identified and trained to serve as Big Brothers and Big Sisters to vulnerable youth.”

The grant from the Comcast Foundation is in recognition of Comcast’s commitment to the communities where its customers and employees live and work.
