iContainers is a Finalist for the 7th Annual International Business Leadership Award

MIAMI - Nov. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- In November 2013, the Miami Chamber of Commerce selected iContainers as a finalist for the 7^th Annual International Business Leadership Awards. These awards recognize international businesses large and small for their contributions to the Florida economy. iContainers was recognized for its commitment to international business and early success.

iContainers was nominated in the “Best New Company” category. This category is for start-up businesses or new divisions of existing businesses that have been operating for less than five years. With iContainers USA, located in Miami, Florida, having been operating for less than a year, the company has been awarded a great honor by being recognized as a finalist for this award.

Ivan Tintore, CEO of iContainers, attended the award ceremony on Thursday, November 14th at the Hyatt Regency Miami Hotel. The Awards Ceremony recognized 33 Florida companies in total.  The judges were Tomas Abreu, Honorary consulate of the Principality of Monaco in Miami, Alejandra Collarte, Director of International Relations, and Ricardo Taño-Feijoó, Marketing Director of Bermello Ajamil & Partners, Inc. The most significant award of the night was the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award given to

Manuel D. Medina, Founding and Managing Partner of Medina Capital. Medina is well recognized as an established business leader with expertise in technology, finance, international business, and government contracting.

iContainers, one of the first Internet based Freight Forwarders, was founded at the end of 2007 in Barcelona, Spain, and expanded to the United States in the second quarter of 2013. As a new entrant in the US market, iContainers USA focuses its efforts on servicing small and medium sized enterprises as well as individuals. The company is projected to have over $5.5 million in revenue in 2013, having grown more 50% since 2012. iContainers is proud to be making a positive contribution to the Florida economy and to be recognized as a finalist for this award.
