Herker Industries Announces Facility Expansion

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. - Nov. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Herker Industries, Inc., a contract manufacturer of precision machined components, mechanical assemblies, and production welding services, recently announced the purchase of an additional building.  Ed Nunemaker, CEO of Herker, said that the new building is currently under renovation and will house Herker’s entire distribution facility and will open up 20,000 square feet of manufacturing space in another of their buildings which currently houses both distribution and some of their manufacturing.

“With the continued rapid growth of our business we knew we would need additional floor space in the near future, so we started negotiating the purchase of the building well over a year ago to support our growth plans.  We now have five buildings in our campus and with the new distribution facility it will be able to support all our transactions in a more efficient manner,” said Nunemaker in a statement.

Completion of the building renovation is targeted for late fall 2013 and their business units will have a total of 148,000 square feet under roof and employment of 183 associates.
