The X-Treme XB-300SLA is powered by a 300 watt brushless electric motor that can get you moving up to a top speed of 20 mph, with a 10-mile range (unlimited when pedaling). A variable speed throttle turns on the juice from two 12 volt/12 amp SLA batteries, driving the engine directly at the rear wheel, with no chains or belts needed.

X-Treme has designed the XB-300SLA with quality in mind, from stem to stern. The 18” steel frame is strong and can really take a beating. The steel forks with standard suspension assure riders of an easy ride and soft landings, and the aluminum alloy handlebars are responsive and allow for lots of twists and turns that one might encounter on a typical mountain ride.

The XB-300SLA electric mountain bike has a high quality and reliable 7-speed Shimano Tourney gear and shifter system, a TZX-31 rear dérailleur, and gearbox. As the rider pedals, he or she can activate the Twist and Go (TAG) system for that extra boost to make it up that hill. When using the Pedal Assist (PA) mode, the engine comes on after every 360 degree rotation of the pedals, making pedaling even easier.

Though stripped down to the basics, the X-Treme XB-300SLA sports front and rear caliper brakes that can stop you on a dime. The battery unit is well designed, composed of two sealed lead acid batteries that can easily be swapped out, and can be recharged in as little as 4-6 hours with the included smart battery charger.

Coming in at just 63 lbs., the XB-300SLA can carry a rider up to 350 lbs. The high quality Kenda 26” x 1.95” pneumatic tires, mounted on double wall alloy rims, are knobby and strong and can grip as much dirt as you can throw at them. A quick release front hub as well as a quick release sealed rear wheel hub motor is standard.
