Freehold chiropractor, Dr. Russell Brokstein hosts every year an annual holiday food and coat drive called Baby It's Cold Outside. It is a state run public service through the Association of NJ Chiropractors. Chiropractors like Dr. Brokstein collect coats, jackets, gloves and scarves to help keep people warm. He also extends it into collecting non-perishable food items to help feed those in need. Dr. Brokstein who owns Hometown Family Wellness Center at 9 Broadway in Freehold, NJ says, "I grew up in Freehold and when I returned to open my practice I wanted to give back to the town I grew up in. There is no better time than the holidays to help other people. I am fortunate to be able to enjoy the holiday season. We have to remember there are people out there who don't have what we have. I hope to collect a lot of food and clothing to help make a difference for others this winter. Our state association has many practices participating in Baby It's Cold Outside, so if you are not in the Freehold area, please locate a practice near you." Dr. Brokstein and Hometown Family Wellness center will be collecting food and coats until the first business day of January. To thank anybody that donates at least 5 items, you will receive a gift certificate for a complimentary health and wellness consultation (regularly valued at $145) that you can use for yourself or share with somebody you love. Hometown Family Wellness Center is located at 9 Broadway in Freehold, NJ. For more information you can call 732-780-0044 or go to http://www.chiropractorfreehold.com End
