Governor Bob Ehrlich signs new book in Hunt Valley, Maryland

HUNT VALLEY, Md. - Dec. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Former Maryland Governor, US Congressman, Bob Ehrlich visits Greetings & Readings of Hunt Valley for a rare public book signing on Saturday, December 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In his new book, America: Hope for Change (November 5, Post Hill Press), Governor Bob Ehrlich explores the causes and remedies to the seven most difficult issues confronting (and confounding) our culture and country. Tackling complex issues, Ehrlich presents an urgent call to action on behalf of a conservative political force that will determine the quality of life for generations to come.

Ehrlich tackles the tough issues including strengthening American culture, fiscal practices and debt, healthcare delivery, job creation, social security and national security.

As Maryland's first Republican governor in 36 years, Governor Ehrlich launched construction on 123 statewide transportation projects in four years and managed the most successful military base realignment and closure strategy in the nation. He toughened penalties for sex offenders, drunk driving, and witness intimidation and established Maryland's first Office of Homeland Security.

Governor Ehrlich created the nation's first cabinet-level Department of Disabilities, for which he earned the "Highest Recognition Award" from the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, among other awards.
