Lila Nikole, Laurence Gartel And Mobius 8 To Perform Live During Art Basel 2013

MIAMI - Dec. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Lila Nikole, fashion designer for upscale swimwear line Lila Nikole Collection, and co founder Aisha Thalia, will host the second annual fundraiser, Fusion art and fashion event on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m., at the L.M.N.T Art Gallery, located at 59 NW 36 St., in Midtown. The event will benefit Project Save Imagination, a foundation that supports students with an avid interest in the arts and music but lack the funds or opportunities to pursue their dreams.

Taking place during Art Basel 2013, “Fusion” is a funky, fashion-forward mash-up fundraiser that will combineenthralling live musical performances, an art to wear fashion show, live fine art presentation and photography gallery displays, and the attendance of top models, trend setters and celebrities.

The event will be hosted by co founder of Project Save imagination Aisha Thalia. Live performances by Mobius 8 and a live art display by the godfather of graphic art Laurence Gartel. Music will be provided by DJ Affect, DJ Epps, DJ Mad Linx and Jo’zzy. Featured artist is NFL Player Aaron Maybin. Lila Nikole Collection will showcase a fashion show with pieces inspired by Frida Khalo and Dia De Los Muertos. Affect Made will host a variety of art inspired vehicles on premise. The event is sponsored by Affect Made, Grey Goose, and Aveda High Tech School.

Grey goose will offer a one hour open bar from 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

Event proceeds will Project Save Imagination, with monies raised helping to advance sponsorship and implementation of art integration in impoverished communities and schools. $10 donations are requested at the door or presale at www. saveimagination.org/donations-and-sponsorship/

“The goal of Project Save Imagination is to raise fund for underprivileged children and boost public arts programs that have suffered from budget cuts,” said Lila Nikole. “Without art, music, fashion and theater, these students are unable to fully realize their greatness and potential.
