The Crown Tour Aims to Re-Ignite the Freestyle Hip Hop Movement on the West Coast

LOS ANGELES - Dec. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- The Crown Tour is a concert and cypher series designed to find the best performers, spoken word poets and freestyle rappers in the nation, by giving them a platform to showcase their skills and earn acclaim. The West Coast region of the tour kicks off at The Terrace in Pasadena, CA with world renowned freestyle artist Mistah F.A.B. playing master of ceremonies. Performances include: Cavie, Kaliraps and a host of handpicked emerging artist with special invited celebrity guest in attendance.

The Crown Tour’s innovative format challenges MC's to bring the true freestyle spirit back. During the Royal Cypher, MC's are posed with a variety of challenges designed to showcase their technique, creativity and dexterity. In addition to spitting flows over beats and acapella, MC's are challenged to come up with hard-hitting verses straight off the dome based on visual cues and themes initiated by the audience.
