About Katie Critchlow Katie was born in San Diego, California, and trained atThe San Elijo Dance Academy in San Diego, followed by Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle. She also participated in summer intensives at American Ballet Theatre and Boston Ballet, joining Ballet West in 2006. About Ronnie Underwood Ronnie’s hometown is Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ronnnie began his training at the Tulsa School of Ballet, Ballet Hispanico in New York City, and American Ballet Theatre. He performed as an apprentice with Tulsa Ballet Theatre before joining Fort Worth/Dallas Ballet (now Texas Ballet Theater) at the age of 19. Prior to joining Ballet West in 2011, Ronnie was a principal dancer with Oregon Ballet Theatre About Breaking Pointe "Breaking Pointe" rips back the curtain on the inner workings of elite Salt Lake City Ballet Company, Ballet West. It obliterates the notion that ballet is a dated art form and shatters pre-conceived stereotypes about the men and women who give their lives to the world of ballet. Beneath their perfect exteriors, these dancers have the toughness of linebackers, punishing their bodies to achieve perfection and dancing through injuries and pain. About West Coast Ballet Theatre West Coast Ballet Theatre is the semi-professional arm of the San Elijo Dance and Music Academy and 4S Dance Academy. Every year, the Theatre produces a unique Nutcracker experience in grand scale. Where traditional Nutcracker productions are performed by 15-20 adult ballet dancers, West Coat Ballet Theatre’s “The Nutcracker” is performed by a cast of over 200 performers of all ages.
