Hiring Lead Carpenter in Tampa Bay

TAMPA, Fla. - Dec. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Rossi Construction, Inc. announced on Thursday that it is engaging an online employment push of sorts in the Tampa Bay area with a search for a new Lead Carpenter.

The initial position being promoted online is that of Lead Carpenter for the fast growing construction company, which does business around the Tampa Bay area.  The job description requires that applicants possess all of the following skills, as explained to the press by Jason Rossi:

A lead carpenter is a craftsman with extensive skill and experience level, able to manage job sites with multiple employees and trade contractors.

Previous Job Experience Required

A Lead Carpenter must have a minimum of seven years in all phases of residential construction. Supervisory experience.  The ideal candidate will have owned and operated their own construction business in the past.

Knowledge Required to Successfully Execute the Job

The candidate will possess extensive knowledge of residential construction, residential remodeling, construction practices, construction procedures, construction techniques, tools, equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, safety and applicable building codes.  The candidate must also possess experience in drywall installation, drywall finishing, tile installation, cabinet installation, plumbing, electrical, metal framing and wood framing.

The candidate will also be proficient in:

Blueprint reading;
Layout;
Framing;
Project completion;
Change order experience;
Project scheduling;
The ability to communicate details to employees and others.

Preference will be given to anyone also conveying skill in:

Mathematics;
Problem solving;
Organizational skills.
