By: Children's India Ana Mazhari is the Festival Director of ‘Cinecita Columbia’, an International Children’s Film Festival in Colombia. She is also an Actress and a Filmmaker of Colombo – Iranian origin. She has organized hundreds of workshops for children in different parts of Colombia. She has also been at the forefront of training mentoring and developing theatre artists. This workshop will mold children in developing finer aspects of their personality, self confidence and hone their skills of Acting, Narration and Storyboarding (Picture Writing). While acting and narration skills will prepare children for taking leadership in life and give them the confidence to take on the center stage, Storyboarding will provide a basic foundation in how every film director in the world starts off his career in filmmaking. Children’s India, an NGO for children has been developing platforms for children in the areas of Films, Culture and Literature ever since 2005. We are the organizers of the Children’s India International Children’s Film Festivals (CIICFFs’) in Karnataka. With a history of having organized CIICFFs’ in 14 cities of Karnataka, we are proud to be the only organization in the world to have organized our film festival simultaneously in more than 2 cities. Our upcoming 9th CIICFF will be held in January, with screenings of 213 films from 44 countries.
