JERUSALEM - Dec. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- The Israel Travel Company - local based guides all over Israel invite you to experience a custom designed tour of Israel that you build yourselves!!

We like to describe this trip as a cross cultural travel experience rather than a tour. We love exploring the multiple layers of history, culture and life in this land and we really do want each tour to be fresh and custom designed specifically for you.

This is not a group tour. This is a private travel experience with your own personal licensed tour guide  and designed for you whether you are traveling solo or as a couple ,as a family or as a small group of  friends. Our itineraries are meant to be rewritten by our clients!!!

How do we do this?

Below you will find a 9 day - 8 night package that lists a touring framework for what we hope will be the memorable trip of a lifetime for you. Working within this itinerary framework we set out  what we describe as the classical core program outline for the day: where we start and end each day, the major sites we will visit, national parks, archaeological sites, the "must see," "on the list to do" stuff.

Then we present a range of option themes for you to consider to add to that classical core framework for each day or to decide that you would just rather go with a theme for that particular day and leave the classical core program for the next day.

So as an example only : the classical core accommodation outline for this tour is as follows: One night in the Negev desert at Mitzpe Ramon, one night at the Dead Sea, three nights based in Jerusalem, two nights with a view of the Sea of Galilee, one night Akko,with food and wine on the Mediterranean coast for the last night of the trip.

Then with that classical core in place we ask you consider theme options that we list below- again to try to make it easier for you  to plan a trip in this multi-layered land.

Active adventure theme.  Cross cultural experience theme.   Christian, Jewish or Muslim theme.  Environmental or ecotour theme.

Other potential themes  - wine, art, restaurants, fashion,spa hotels.
