Follow on Google News | Kimberton Waldorf School Welcomes Author, Activist, and Entrepreneur Judy WicksJudy Wicks is the founder of Philadelphia’ “We share Judy Wicks’ passion for the local food movement.” said Karen Scott Flores ‘79, Head Chef at Kimberton Waldorf School. “Our main source of fresh fruits and vegetables is our own organic school garden. We also rely on our local CSAs and farms for fresh produce and the biodynamic yogurt, cream, and milk we use are locally produced, as well. We are thrilled to welcome Judy, a leader in the sustainable food movement, to our school.” Dinner will be provided by Food for Thought, Kimberton Waldorf School’s community-supported lunch program that uses natural, organic, locally and sustainably sourced ingredients. The cost is $10 for adults and $7 for children. All are welcome. The event is being held at the Kimberton Waldorf School Gymnasium, 410 West Seven Stars Road, Phoenixville, PA.
