~ For the first time, Bombay boy Siddhant Karnick will be essaying the role of an exuberant Delhi munda who falls in love with a call centre executive ~

This week, popular actor Siddhant Karnick will be seen as the protagonist on the upcoming episode of bindass’ show Yeh Hai Aashiqui. Siddhant will be portraying the role of Karan, a happy-go-lucky guy from Delhi who randomly calls up people for fun and one such random call leads him to Preet, a call centre executive. And as fate would have it, they fall in love with each other.

Siddhant, who is a well known television actor, is famous for his roles such as Ishaan Singh Ahluwalia in Mahi Way (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahi_Way) and as Siddharth Mehra in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyaar_Kii_Ye_Ek_Kahaani). On this episode, Siddhant will be seen stepping out of his comfort zone and playing a character that is very unlike him. Talking about his role Siddhant said, ‘’ When I first heard the script, I decided it’s time for me to transform from good to crust. Till now audiences have seen most of my characters as sophiscated tycoons, I am extremely eager and excited about the reactions of my fans when they see me in a typical Jatt avatar. For me it has been the most difficult role since, I had to adapt the body language, mannerisms of a Jatt boy in order to justify my character’’.

Apart from Siddhant, television actress Meher Vij will also be seen in this episode, playing the role of Preet, the female lead. The show will be hosted by the popular television actor Rithvik Dhanjani, who will take the viewers through the story.
