Father Unveils Letters to His Son

WASHINGTON - Dec. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- After 6 Media LLC., is pleased to announce the release of  author, Sherman M. Nelson Jr.’s first book Flowing from my Heart: Letters from a Father to a Son. In his book Nelson identifies eight topics a father should share with his son that are pertinent to a son’s road to manhood. He communicates collected wisdom from his experiences of what it means to be a man and how the changing conceptions of manhood have sown misperceptions causing damaging relationships.

Amidst evolving cultural changes, Nelson realized it might be grappling for sons to understand the definition of manhood. As these conversations target fathers and sons, Nelson hopes to alleviate the engine that drives society’s most crucial problems by addressing manhood from a Biblical perspective. At the book’s conclusion is a letter from God to his sons. It is intended that this book will encourage and propel fathers and sons to connect on another level, strive to become champions in every facet of life and to prepare the next generation for the task of standing as godly men.

Sherman M. Nelson Jr. believes, “The book reveals that many men feel disconnected from their fathers and in some ways from themselves. Men are expected to know how to be real men but no one is teaching them how.” Nelson expects to begin touring around the world with his book in hopes to repair, restore and rebuild the father and son relationship.
