Novasans is proud to present another media partnership with one of the most influential healthcare and hospital conferences held in South East Asia during 2014; The 3rd Annual Hospital Efficiency and Quality Asia Summit 2014. The conference will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 19-20 March, 2014. The growing concern over patient safety in healthcare environments has raised the need for a conference, where the goal is to create quality hospitals by improving efficiencies and minimizing wastage to effectively manage costs and improve patient safety and healthcare outcomes.

The conference is organized by the IQPC and is produced in collaboration with the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH). The event will see top hospital stakeholders, clinicians and health ministries gather to discuss the challenges and identify ways to improve efficiency, minimize wastage and manage costs while improving patient safety and healthcare outcomes.

Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, Director General, MOH Malaysia will kick off the event as a keynote speaker. Other notable international speakers include Mr. Steven Thompson, CEO, Johns Hopkins Medicine International, USA; Mr. Miles Scott, CEO, St. George's and Dr. Bruce Campbell, Stroke Neurologist and Research Fellow, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia.

Rounding up the list of featured speakers are Apollo Hospital Group’s Regional CEO Dr. Umapathy Panyala, who will speak about managing costs while delivering quality care for procedures like heart and lung surgeries and A/Prof Mohan Tiru, Chief and Senior Consultant, Accident and Emergency Department, Changi General Hospital Singapore, who reveal insights on achieving efficient patient throughput in the emergency department.

One of the major themes of the Hospital Efficiency and Quality Asia 2014 will most likely be how hospitals can expand their service offerings without compromising efficiency and patient safety.
