Eye Centers of Florida relocates its Port Charlotte office December 23

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Dec. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Effective December 23, 2013, Eye Centers of Florida will relocate its Port Charlotte office at 18316 Murdock Circle to a larger facility located at 1940 Tamiami Trail in the Murdock Carrousel Shopping Center in Port Charlotte, FL 33948. Services will include examination and diagnosis of eye diseases; testing for eyeglasses and contact lenses; cataract evaluations; and treatment of glaucoma and retinal diseases. Expanded retail space will carry a broad array of Tiffany & Co., Prada, Coach® and other distinctive eyewear frames and sunglasses, in addition to its selection of value eyewear.

“We’re excited to increase the availability of eye care specialists to our Port Charlotte patients,” said Dr. David C. Brown. “We continually strive to provide convenient, state-of-the-art eye care throughout Southwest Florida.”

The new office will be staffed with board certified physicians under the direction of founder and Medical Director David C. Brown, MD, FACS. Barrett Ginsberg, MD, FACS and Quentin Allen, MD, both cornea and refractive surgeons specializing in cataract surgery, laser vision correction, and glaucoma. Claudio A. Ferreira, MD, a retinal surgeon specializing in macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular occlusions, and retinal detachments and tears. Allison Yee, MD, an ophthalmic plastic surgeon. Karen Memoli, OD will provide primary eye care exams and diagnostic services, prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses, and provide pre- and post-op care.
