Movie List for 6th Biffes Announced

BANGALORE, India - Dec. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- 1.      The list of films selected for 6^th BIFFes including the three competition sections are enclosed.

2.      We will have 230 screenings covering 160 films from 52 countries in 7 screens, namely

a.       Fun Cinema (3 screens),

b.      Lido Inox (2 screens),

c.       Sulochana (1 screen),

d.      Priyadarshini, Badami House (1 screen).

3.      For the first time, we are introducing an Audience Award for the best film to be selected through voting by the participating delegates.

4.      The press conference will be held Varthasoudha (Information Centre), which will also host the media centre.

5.      We will also organise Master-classes on different subjects
Seminars/Workshops on

a.       Digital Camera

b.      Sound

c.       Panel discussion on global marketing of regional cinema

6.      Delegate registration has picked up well and there is good demand from the film lovers and students.

8.      A quiz on World Cinema organized in association with St. Joseph's College of Commerce and conducted by Quiz Master Arul Mani.

a.       Kannada Quiz on 21st December 2013 at 3-00 PM at Suchitra Film Society, 36, B V Karanth Road, Banashankari 2nd Stage, Bangalore 560070.

b.      English Quiz on 22nd December 2013 at 10-30 AM at Auditorium, St. Joseph's College of Commerce, #163, Opp to St. Patrick's Church, Brigade Road, Bangalore 560025
